Oceans Community Project is proud to be a Census Support Centre.
The census is a ten yearly compulsory survey that gives the most accurate estimate of all the people and households in England and Wales, helping inform local authorities and government about demands for public services such as schools, hospitals, GP services and social care.
In 2021, the census will be ‘digital first’ and accessible through an online platform. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is responsible for carrying out the census in England and Wales and has contracted with Good Things Foundation to set up a network of community organisations and libraries – Census Support Centres – to provide people with support to complete their census online.

Good Things Foundation is a social change charity, helping people to improve their lives through digital. Through thousands of community partners across the UK (the Online Centres Network), Good Things Foundation helps people gain the support and skills they need to change their lives, and believes that everyone in the UK should have the confidence, skills, support and access to use digital technology, participate in society and benefit from the digital world.
For the duration of the Census, from March 1st to May 9th 2021, Oceans Community Project will be based at The Glade, Furnace Drive, Crawley, RH10 6JL.
